My new foster cat
I’ve decided that one nice thing about blogging is that I can talk about whatever is on my mind. Today I want to tell you about Samuel or Sammie as I like to call him. I am fostering him for the Pet Placement Center and just brought him home this afternoon. He is still very shy and hiding but I look forward to having him as a companion cat while he waits for his forever home.
He is a very sweet cat but for now is hiding in a covered cat bed as he adjust to yet another move. He is available for adoption and just with me for a short time. I look forward to getting to know him when he is ready to come out of hiding and start to get acquainted.
I am communicating with him to explain that his human mom had to move and could not take him and his house sister with her. Unfortunately his sister cat reacted to a vaccination and died so he has lost her as well as his human mom and his home. And of course I am offering him Reiki to help him heal. Animal Communication and Reiki go so well together and can help shelter cats deal with the trauma of losing their homes and being in a shelter until they find another forever home.
My intention is to offer him a nice safe place to grieve and heal so he can find his forever home.
